The history of Soho is written in its surviving architecture. One of Britain’s best-loved architectural historians, Dan Cruickshank, grants us an intimacy with centuries of rich and varied history as he guides us around the Soho of the last five hundred years.
Dan Cruickshank is an architectural historian and television presenter. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and has sat on the Executive Committee of the Georgian Group, and the Architectural Panel of the National Trust. His previous work includes the BBC television programmes “Civilisation Under Attack” (2015) and “At Home with the British” (2016), and the books “A History of Architecture in 100 Buildings” (2015), “Spitalfields” (2016), and “Soho: A Street Guide To Soho’s History, Architecture and People” (2020).
Keiron Pim is an internationally acclaimed biographer whose most recent book is “Endless Flight: The Genius and Tragedy of Joseph Roth”, described by “The Times Literary Supplement” as an “elegant, detailed and judicious biography.” He's also the author of “Jumpin’ Jack Flash: David Litvinoff and the Rock ’n’ Roll Underworld”, which features on an episode of the Radio Sohemia podcast.
