Night River Presents: Nadine Khouri

Nadine Khouri is a singer-songwriter currently based in Marseille, France. Influenced by alternative folk, film soundtracks and spoken-word poetry, her sound has been described as a “music born of perennial outsider-status.”

Her first album 'The Salted Air' was recorded in Bristol and produced by legendary British producer John Parish (PJ Harvey, This is the Kit.) A poetic collection of meditations on loss and displacement, the album was hailed by MOJO as "A thing of dark possessed beauty”, celebrated by Q (Critics Choice) and selected as one of Rough Trade’s Albums of the Year.

Since the album’s release, Khouri has performed in some of Europe’s most prestigious venues, including Royal Festival Hall, Botanique, Paradiso, The Berlin
Palace, and has shared the stage with Low, John Grant, Barry Adamson, MarissaNadler, and many more.

Khouri returns to the West Country for an exclusive one-off solo performance, playing songs from her catalog, alongside a first look at unreleased material.

The evening will open with a supporting set from your host and Night River founder, DG Solaris, fresh from releasing his sixth studio album, Tellisford Loop.

Night River was formed in Frome in 2022 and has since hosted over 100 shows of inspiring singer songwriter and folk artists. We are now hosting shows at At the Chapel.

There are only 60 seats available, so early booking is advised.

Doors at 7pm, music starts at 8pm.
