Walthamstow's premier jazz night featuring London and the UK's finest musicians.
This April Jazz at Trades is delighted to welcome the Tom Ward Trio. Tom Ward is a 23-year-old up-and-coming jazz pianist, specialising in the stride piano style of the 1920s and 1930s. Heavily influenced by jazz legends such as Fats Waller, Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson, Tom has already graced the stage at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Ronnie Scott’s. He has collaborated with notable artists such as Jamie Cullum, Kansas Smitty’s, and Guy Barker. Towards the end of 2025, Tom featured as a special guest in Guy Barker’s Big Band Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall. The trio will be completed by Ben Love on double bass and George Grundy on drums.
Our two tier pricing system aims to strike a balance between making our event accessible for all, whilst trying to ensure we can pay the musicians a fair wage for their performance. Please consider paying the full ticket price of £10 if you can, to help support our musicians and help to cover the costs involved in running the night.
Another evening not to be missed, we hope you can join us! Doors at 7pm, music from 8pm
