Author Vanessa Holburn will be here in Shinfield giving a talk on her new book 'Secret Women'
'What motivates some women to lead secret lives? This book examines the varied reasons and experiences behind secrecy among a diverse group, from Freemasons to activists, witches, and survivors. The author, Vanessa Holburn, sensitively explores these stories, offering insight into their hidden worlds.
Vanessa Holburn is an established non-fiction writer, with six books including Surviving the Holocaust and Stalin and How to Be an Activist. She spent several years in Hong Kong before returning to the UK to pursue lifestyle writing and has contributed to major British publications'.
