Barry, a hapless TV comic, hopes to laugh all the way to the bank when he is courted by two executives promising fat fees and five star treatment. Barry is urged by the bankers to give a candid account of his life and views. The Barry that emerges is the least of the surprises in the tense game power and manipulation that ensues.
