DeLorean Drivers, The Kiara Elles, Wrongbot
| 0 | LEEDS: The Brudenell Social Club |
|---|---|
| P | Friday 19th February, 2010 |
| N | 7:30pm |
Eureka Machines play fast pop music with noisy guitars and drums. They've spent the past year touring the country with bands from Electric Six to The Wildhearts to The Stranglers to Charlie Chuck. They return to the legendary Brudenell Social Club in Leeds to help raise money to record the follow up to their debut album 'Do Or Die', which The Sun described as "power pop perfection".
Rock Sound reckons "you won't hear bigger, better or more lavish pop songs than this all year... fact!", Classic Rock thinks they're "one of the most exciting bands we've heard in a while", and Spin Magazine describes them as "locating the sweet spot between Green Day and 10cc"

DeLorean Drivers are a nine-piece pop rock extravaganza. Think Arcade Fire, but from Leeds. And more pop. And more rock. They WILL make you dance. "Some truly exhilarating pop music and a killer live show that verges on spiritual communion (Polyphonic Spree meet Scissor Sisters, but with the annoying bits of the latter removed)" - Vibrations Magazine.

The Kiara Elles are fronted by pop vixen Chiara Lucchini and play electro indie new wave stuff. A visceral live howl and another pop frenzy. "One of those out-of-nowhere indie records that has the man in the street singing along to a guitar riff. Odio will go blog > indie disco > charts > car advert in a matter of months. Enjoy it while you can bear it." - The Guardian
