Delighted be welcoming Savak back to town at new venue Red Sun Moon on Thursday 5th November!

Savak are legends of the American alt-rock underground, having made 7 albums in 10 years, along with several 7" singles, EPs and splits. This October will see the release of Door Deals & Debt, an essential collection that spans the band's career to date.

The core trio includes Sohrab Habibion (Obits, Edsel) and Michael Jaworski (The Cops) – who sing, play guitar, and split the songwriting – along with Matt Schulz (Holy Fuck, Enon) on drums. Bassist Matt Hunter (Silver Jews, New Radiant Storm King) joins for live performances. Drummer Alexis Fleisig (Girls Against Boys) will be touring with them in the UK this year!

They're touring with Oxford's Sinews - playing unfashionable post-hardcore rock music, made up of Heather, Luke, Rich and Thomas. The band released their debut EP 'Reanimated' in January 2024, and a follow up EP 'Choreography' in February 2025, which Nightshift Magazine said ‘stands true to post-hardcore’s original ideals and finds the sweet spot between thoughtful intricacy and musical violence.’ Live the band have shared the stage with the likes of Mclusky, Fucked Up, Thank, The None, Cassels, Objections, and Other Half. Also on the bill we have London's Proto Next Wave exponents, Dealing with Damage, fresh from the studio where they're recording their fourth album after playing a series of gigs through the first half of 2026 to promote "The London Particular" (released earlier this year on Serial Bowl records).
