The original Green Ribbon Club was Britain’s first political opposition party, set up by people more commonly know as Levellers. Many soldiers in the Parliamentary army unionised, they wore Green Ribbons or sprigs of Rosemary to signify their allegiance. These fine people are their musical, spiritual descendants. Bravo.
