Dead Meadow are three completely synched brains releasing a most unusual and original heavy rock potion. We haven't heard drums-bass-guitar get this focused, loud or important this side of 'Split'-era Groundhogs or Human Instinct's 'Stoned Guitar', and if you can't figure that one out, this is as high praise as you can get.You can’t just call it "stoner" or "psychedelic" rock; it's a complete natural sound, played by expert autodidact musicians. We don't have a name for what they do; "organic heavy music" mysteriously hasn't won anyone over yet. But we can assure you that we will keep thinking about it. You should too, but in the meantime, please step into the zone - there is still ample room up front, but not for very long.

Dead Meadow have released five studio albums, three of which were on Matador Records. Their most recent release was 2008's Old Growth which Drowned in Sound.com called “their finest yet.”

The video was helmed by Artificial Army who have previously worked with recording artists The Sword, The Mars Volta, Coheed & Cambria and These Arms Are Snakes. The song and the video provide the first glimpse of The Three Kings multi-media project to surface later this year on Xemu (www.Xemu.com) which will include new music from the band as well as re-recorded classics from their catalogue.
