Simon Spillett has risen meteorically in the past few years becoming one of the most dynamic and distinctive tenor saxophonists on the UK jazz scene. Compared with the late, great Tubby Hayes, Simon is a regular at Ronnie Scott's, the 100 Club and The Jazz Cafe - and now at Clitheroe's Atrium Cafe at Ribble Valley Jazz Festival on Sunday evening 2 May - on stage with Steve Berry Trio at 8pm.
