OYSTERBAND
Oysterband deconstruct their sound to reveal its acoustic heart for a spectacular but intimate all-seated and all-ages show in the stunning confines of London's Union Chapel.
Following the success of their acoustic, retrospective album The Oxford Girl and Other Stories, Oysterband re-invent more of their classic songs and rarities in a live show far removed from their usual full-on performances but no less intense and moving.
"tremendous, joyous, remarkable... Oysterband play with an imagination and vigor that makes them the cream of their genre." - ROLLING STONE
"enduring lineage to traditional song and imaginative arrangements by five hugely accomplished musicians. There's nothing dated even about the 80s tracks and, relevant, inspiring, vital, this still sets the standards." - MOJO

+ DAN MANGAN
(on stage 7.45pm)
Vancouver's Dan Mangan returns to the UK after touring as support for The Broken Family Band and silencing a capacity crowd at Brighton's Great Escape Festival last year. Mangan also took home the 2009 XM Verge Music Award for "Artist Of The Year" (a bit like Canada's Radio 1 awarding the Mercury Prize but voted for by the public).
"... he sings with the soul of Woody Guthrie - if Woody Guthrie had listened to Godspeed (You Black Emperor)" - NME
