Ah yes, it's that band with the clever name that you wish you'd thought of using. They turned the 'mill into a sweaty mess back at the start of the year and now they're back brandishing their brilliant 'Black Square' album that was released at the end of September on Geoff 'Portishead' Barrow's Invada label.
Day Month Year, as you could also call them, are nuts on record and even more looney when they get on stage. Notable inspiration comes from the works of Frank Zappa, Melt Banana, DADA art and video games and translates into a riot of drone chaos, razor postpunk, manic prog, spazz dance with a tune always lurking around somewhere in the noise riot.
Bring on the spazzydancepunkmanicprog!
'Infectious and spry post-punky tunes' - Pitchfork
'I'd recommend seeing them on any day, in any month or year' - TIME OUT, New York
''Sirens roar, guitars burn their notes, drums scatter like cockroaches in light and a breakdown hammers home their discombobulating nature before launching into a riveting climax that ends with a calming plateau.' - exclaim!

ILLNESS
Do you think that electric guitar and acoustic drum duos are passe, then think again!!
Conceived as a university engineering project, ILLNESS is Spencer and Emilio, a pair of Brighton nuts synthesizing pop hooks and abrasive audio assaults.
Illness are smashing their way through legions of musical mediocrity in the 'dying twilight of the late capitalist age' and their debut 'Gifts From God' EP on Smalltown America records is six marvellous tracks of fast-paced sonic manoeuvres, and it is released today!!!!
'It's experimental instrumental rock music and its bloody ace' - The Fly

CHIPS FOR THE POOR
''The vibe is lo-fi electronic punk that nods to Suicide, The Fall and The Talking Heads but carries a humour more present in modern new wavers such as simian mobile disco. This is a seven inch that will turn a few heads' - Rough Trade
'It's a banger' - Huw Stephens, Radio 1
