We love Cinema and the Circus and spooky surprises.

So, come and spend Halloween with us at a dimly lit Zippos Circus tent at The Old Deer Park in Richmond for another special Lexi Cinema pop-up event, as we bring you a unique presentation of Tim Burton's gothic fantasy, Edward Scissorhands.

After our last magical outing - Cinema Paradiso at Hampstead Heath - we've been looking for another excuse to take The Lexi Cinema on the road, and what better excuse than to celebrate All Hallows Eve on Sunday 31st October?

Lexi Cinema regulars the flicker club are our horrible hosts for the evening, and they've invited a large cast of gruesome characters to cast their sickening spell over a circus big top festooned with gothic paraphernalia, infested with monstrous creatures, and offering a variety of chilling and macabre immersive experiences'

A gaggle of ghouls awaits you at the bar on arrival and they're after you - to dress up and have your picture taken with them at our Victorian photo booth.

You'd be well-advised to sup deeply of the wine before braving Edgar Allen Poe's poetry corner, before shuddering at the sensational Mr Swine - half man half pig, with an ill-conceived selection of canapés - before gawking at the ultimate bearded lady as she depilates before your disbelieving eyes! Double-take at The Identical Brothers Grim, The Cadaverous Clown, The Ghostly Madeline Usher - and keep your eyes peeled, for that audience member over your shoulder may not be all he seems.

A spooky soundtrack courtesy of our special spectral quartet sets the tone for a bubbling witchy brew of an evening, which promises to be one part Burton, one part League of Gentlemen, with a nod to Carnevale.
