World renowned guitarist - supported Joe Satriani on the G3 tour last year and confirmed to a younger audience what Gilbert fans have known for over 20 years that Paul Gilbert is simply one of the greatest guitarists on the planet today.

This is going to be an awesome tour.

We will be performing the best songs from my new "Fuzz Universe" CD, as well as favorites from my other solo albums, Racer X, Mr. Big, and many other musical surprises.

Craig Martini and Jeff Bowders are the thunderous rhythm section on my "Fuzz Universe" album, and I'm happy to have them join me on this tour to bring the album to life.

I'm also thrilled to have Tony Spinner join me on this tour. Tony is a stunning guitarist and vocalist. We'll have some killer guitar jams onstage, and soaring vocal harmonies as well.

Paul Gilbert is the guitarist of Racer X and formerly of Mr. Big. After he parted ways with Mr. Big in 1996, Paul pursued his career as a solo guitarist and has evolved into a successful solo artist/singer/songwriter.

Gilbert composes music in a wide variety of styles including pop, rock, metal, blues, jazz, funk and classical, but is perhaps best known for his versatility and speed. His guitar work is characterised by his floating right hand contrary to the more common anchored right hand that many guitarists favour. He is also considered to be one of the best proponents of alternate picking.
