LEFT WITH PICTURES
"Using a range of instruments, equipment and sounds - from Gregorian plainchant to electronic tape loops - the band feature three tenor voices and the occasional Kazoo and create what the trio describe as "Claude Debussy on a shoestring budget". - THE GUARDIAN Myspace of the Week
"... combine folk sensibilities with an honest heart that connects with all in the room; genuinely universal themes filtered through a sound that's as pop as it gets when it comes to instant gratification, but also soaked in the woozy melancholy of the finest Arcade Fire. As they step from the stage to play entirely acoustic in the middle of the room, a hush of real reverence descends, and unanimous respect is followed by the sort of applause (and encore requests) regularly reserved for a headline act." - CLASH MAGAZINE
"Like early Belle & Sebastian, fronted by Euros Childs, and gently exposed to jazz" - TIME OUT

+ THE MONROE TRANSFER
"haunted, melancholic violin phrases dissolve into impressionistic landscapes of watery guitar chords and multiple crashing crescendos. Swelling from morose chamber group to aggressive groove orchestra and back, The Monroe Transfer demand to be absorbed by candlelight, with a phial of absinthe on the side." - METRO One To Watch
