David Kennedy's work under the Pearson Sound and Ramadanman monikers has made a huge mark on the music community over this last year. Since his first 'Pearson Sound' release on 'Soul Jazz' ('Gambetta' b/w 'so Far Ago') Kennedy has displayed a keener interest in diversifying his track templates, ramping up woodblock percussion with tracks like 'Wad' (released on his own Hessle Audio label), scoring dancefloor anthems with beats like 'Work Them' (released on Loefah's Swamp81) and turning his hand to soulful atmospherics with his remix of Jamie Woon's 'Night Air'. His deviation from the conventional 'dubstep' template has already been greatly discussed and he is currently toying with the public's very notion of his sound. For anyone interested in forward thinking bass music, a two hour session with Pearson Sound 'AKA' Ramadanman 'AKA' David Kennedy, is frankly not to be missed!
