DIY Popfest this year is across 3 different venues, all of which have different levels of accessibility. Please find below the details for each.
Friday 28th April - DIY Space For London: https://diyspaceforlondon.org/access/
DIY Space For London is on a single floor level with access ramps, widened doors and accessible bar area and toilet. Some of the ramps you may need support with if using a wheelchair - check out their excellent website https://diyspaceforlondon.org/access/ for more details.
Saturday 29th April - The George Tavern: http://www.thegeorgetavern.co.uk/contactus.html
The George Tavern is mostly on a single floor level but there is no accessible toilet. There is a one step threshold into the main entrance. From there it is level, until a ramp up to the toilets. The toilet doors are quite narrow so if using a wheelchair you would need support. If you are not sure, drop us a message or give the venue a call on 0207 790 7335
Sunday 30th April - The Shacklewell Arms: http://www.shacklewellarms.com/location/
The Shacklewell Arms is on a single floor level but there is a step into the pub. Wheelchairs can then access the venue area via the rear door to the left of the pub but there is also a small step into the venue at this point. Wheelchair users would need support to negotiate these steps. Please ask staff on arrival or drop us a message before the event letting us know when you will be arriving. The toilets are on the same level access as the venue but with narrow corridors.
