Shorter days of investigation, imagination and discovery for children aged 6 to 12yrs who love being creative and learning through fun activities. Led by the experienced cultural services learning team, at Kids’ Club children will explore the past, experience the museum and gallery and make really cool things!

Thursday 28 July: PRE-HISTORY: Step back in time to the days of our ancestors, create your own cave art and touch a real mammoth’s tooth.

Thursday 11 August: PIRATE DAY: Treasure maps, telescopes and lots more prirate inspired activity.

Wednesday 24 August: FOUND OVERGROUND: Create replica treasures that have been found hidden in secret rooms, palaces and castles of the world.

Thursday 25 August: FOUND UNDERGROUND: Explore the exciting world of things that have been dug up. Take home your own archaeology treasure hoard.


These workshops will run from 10am through to 2pm and are based at SeaCity and the City Art Gallery. We will move between venues. Please drop off and pick up from the SeaCity main entrance and provide snacks, lunch and a drink. A registration form must be completed prior to arrival.

Due to Covid 19 we need to carefully manage the numbers of people we have in our venue and so anyone entering the workshop will need to have a ticket.
