Event Information
Here’s the line up for Glastonwick 2023, our 26th (or 28th if you count online ones) Beer, Music, Poetry & More Beer Festival. Weekend tickets (with or without camping) go on sale today (1 Feb) and day tickets 1 March. There will be a limited number of physical tickets available at the Duke of Wellington from 1 April onwards. Scoopers’ tickets will be online only this year.
The festival will be held in a different barn (the one at the back, beyond the cider/food one) following farmers Jenny and Jerry’s decision to turn the main barn into a storage area. There are more details about this on the Glastonwick group page and we’re confident it will be a fine substitute: it is at least as big and has better airflow to keep the beer in good nick.
After the ‘recovery year’ last June when we had an ‘old faces’ line- up, it’s all change. We have 11 first time performers and, I am happy to say, more women on stage than ever before, approaching parity in terms of individual acts: this is something I have been working towards for years. Nobody who played last year is on this year apart from Mark Thomas, welcomed back by popular acclaim.
As ever, beer guru Alex Hall will be sourcing 60+ beers from small independent breweries local and national, many of them brewed specially for us. There will be local cider and perry, good food with vegetarian options and, of course, the legendary convivial Glastonwick atmosphere. Bring it on
