Event Information
Join artist Pete Codling to hone your portraiture skills at one of these friendly and accessible workshops. Explore using charcoal as you draw from a clothed life model, guided by Pete to make the most of the medium. You will be working in the exhibition Creative Connections, alongside portraits from the National Portrait Galllery and Southampton's collections as well as new work by Pete Codling and students from Cantell school.
Session times:
11am - 1pm
2pm - 4pm
Free to all, these workshops are supported as part of the Creative Connections project and accompany the Creative Connections portraiture exhibition in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery. Due to high demand for these sessions, however, we ask that you pay a £10 fully refundable deposit per ticket. This deposit will be refunded in full upon attendance. If you can't attend and can give us five working days notice we will also be able to refund your deposit. Please email art.gallery@southampton.gov.uk with any queries.
In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
