Our Friday Night Jazz series continues on Friday 26 September at the Atrium Bar and Restaurant, right in the heart of Russell Square.
This week’s guest is leading British tenor saxophonist Mark Lockheart – renowned for his early work with the trail-blazing big band Loose Tubes, the Mercury-nominated group Polar Bear, and, most recently, his 2024 13-piece album “Smiling,” praised for its vibrant “sonic optimism.”
