A beautiful new show for you Oxford as Divine Schism welcome Quinie (Glasgow) and Eva May (Bristol) to town for the first time alongside Oxford’s Hannah Lou Lasren for a night of interesting and open folk song at the Library on Fri 21st Nov.
Quinie released her third album ‘Forefowk, Mind Me’ via Upset The Rhythm back in May - the record is largely sung in Scots language, one of Scotland’s three official languages along with Gaelic and English and is a sound to behold! We caught Eva May’s spellbinding set at End of the Road last month and her mainly piano based intricate songs soar! Danish multi-instrumentalist Hannah Lou Larsen opens the evening with her stunning and surreal vignettes - her first hometown show in quite a while.
A stunning triple bill here - come get cosy and mesmerised in the Library basement on Fri 21st Nov with the warmth of song!
