Join us to welcome the new year with the fantastic Malphino. The mystical island band will take you on a journey filled with hypnotic cumbia rhythms, subtle digital sounds, accordion textures, voodoo vibes, and woodblock charm!

With a blend of Mexican-Colombian influences infused with a psychedelic twist, the Outer-national Malphino has crafted a cinematic score and audio backdrop that reflects their idyllic vision. A night of musical wonder awaits those adventurous enough to explore the island of Malphino, where borders fade. Everyone is welcome to celebrate and discover a sense of home, community, and belonging.

Traditional Latin American music and particularly cumbia have made a significant impact on the global music scene, and London has become a meeting point and international canvas for new tropical concoctions. It is the capital that has provided the nourishment for Malphino, which features members from Japan, Malaysia, Colombia, France, Philippines and the UK – to flourish. They also pay testament to the open-minded nature of record label Lex (MF Doom, BadBadNotGood, Kate Tempest), which has given them a stage on which to transcend the borders of Latin America and the London music venue where it all began.

Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
