Event information

Luke James Williams is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from Cambridgeshire, UK. Releasing his debut EP ‘Drove’ in November 2018, Luke gained huge support from BBC6 Music DJ Tom Robinson who made ‘Still In Bed’ his 6 Music Recommends Track Of The Week in April 2019, later naming it his Track Of The Year So Far in July. The song was also played across the station by Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq and Tom Ravenscroft. Elsewhere, he has received airplay from Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing.

In July 2022, Luke released his “outstanding” (KLOF) debut album, ‘Our Blood Is Red’. As well as picking up rave reviews from some of the biggest sites & publications on the indie & folk scenes, Bandcamp made the album one of their ‘New & Notable’ releases which attracted new followers from all four corners of the globe.

Luke has received glowing reviews for his captivating & emotive live performances & has supported artists such as Thea Gilmore, Mark Chadwick (Levellers), Charlie Dore & Megson. After performing at Cambridge Folk Festival, Autumn ’22 saw him head out on his first UK headline tour.

He has just released his second full-length album ‘Limes Hotel’ to glowing reviews.

Once described as “the James Taylor of the Fens,” he is known for crafting vivid, poetic songs delivered with a warmth, clarity and emotional honesty that is entirely his own.

Dear Wife’s “beautiful” vocals (BBC 6Music) have gained her attention as an exciting voice in the contemporary UK folk scene. She weaves delicate guitar melodies under narrative lyrics in songs that “probe into wonderful and unexplored corners of human experience” (Nick Hart). Since releasing her debut EP, Folly, in 2024, she’s been working towards a debut album. Having supported the likes of Jacob & Drinkwater on tour, Dear Wife is travelling around the UK in 2026 to bring her “immensely moving” performances (Folkroom Records) to new listeners.
