Join us at Jamboree on January 31st for a sizzling Saturday night Southern Italian party with the brilliant Amaraterra, the first Pizzica ensemble in London, performing traditional music from the heel of Italy!

A ‘Pizzica’ is the malicious bite of the tarantula spider. In order to heal from the poison you must dance till you drop, following the intense, restless beat of the tambourine. It is one of the oldest musical expressions of the Mediterranean, brought to London by a group of passionate musicians. Expect a flourish of instruments, colour and movement.

Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
