In 2025 North Coast Arts teamed up with Off The Kerb Productions to bring a brand new Stand-up Comedy Club to Bude! Your chance to catch the best comedy talent in a club environment!

From Arts Centres to Arenas, Off The Kerb Productions have been bringing the best stand-up comedy to the UK and beyond for over 40 years. They have 22 Comedy Clubs in cities across the UK. so North Coast Arts is delighted to welcome their latest Comedy Club to The Falcon Hotel, right here in Bude!

Mark Olver

Mark Olver is a stand-up comedian, television warm-up artiste and occasional broadcaster for BBC radio. His 2006 solo Edinburgh debut ''Happy Accidentally'' was described as a ''genuine feelgood show'' by chortle.com and was being followed by his 2007 show ''Say Something''. A popular compere and headliner in clubs all over the country, Mark is a regular with some of the biggest names in comedy including Jongleurs and The Glee. An experienced television warm-up, he is the regular warm-up on the little-seen Deal or No Deal and has also worked on other Endemol productions such as Kings of Comedy, FAQ U and Ready Steady Cook. He is a regular warm-up artist for many production companies in the UK, and as well as Deal, the other high profile shows he has worked on include 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The Vicar of Dibley.

Dana Alexander
Dana draws her material from raw life experience with an original and hilarious outlook. She began her comedy career at the age of 18 years old in Canada. Before long she began touring nationally with Yuk Yuk's Comedy Clubs, completed 5 television galas and several radio spots for major stations. In 2011 Dana moved to the U.K. where she premiered her solo hour at The Edinburgh Festival for which she received rave reviews and nominations including "Best Comic" and "Best International Act" from Chortle and Black Comedy Awards. Dana has featured on British television on programmes such as “Question Team”, "Russell Howard's Good News", "Edinburgh Comedy Fest" and "The Culture Show". Her solo comedy special also aired in Canada's popular Stand-up show "Comedy Now" and she has been named in the Top 10 Comedians 3 years running by NOW Magazine in Canada.
Dana can be seen on stage within in the U.K. and Internationally.. She has performed in more than 40 countries such as Bahrain, Dubai, Switzerland, Croatia, France, The Netherlands, Norway, Serbia, The Seychelles, Hungary, Malta and South Africa. She has also performed for the British Armed Forces. You also can hear Dana by following her regular podcast - "Comedians Of The World".

Joe Foster
Joe Foster is a stand-up comedian from Brighton with a sharp, dry wit and likeable persona which has established him as a firm favourite with audiences around the country. In 2015 Joe won the Fosters South Coast Comedian Of The Year Competition which cemented his reputation as one of the fresh new voices on UK comedy circuit and he has since established himself on the comedy circuit with a bright future ahead.
