Permanent Joy Division Passion – from Italia, and nominated by Peter Hook himself as an officially approved Joy Division tribute, you really won’t experience a better expression of the band than this.
Performed with utter conviction, and yes, passion, they nail the sound of Transmission, She’s Lost Control, Dead Souls et al completely. And they look right too. Fantastic. Known Pleasures…
Arrive nice and early for a special DJ set by Italiano DJ Soundcekdj, who specialises in ‘British sound’, post punk and Eighties and Indie Rock bangers. The Dublin Castle will be a home from home for him no doubt.
Then from 11pm Tony Bugbear takes the regular Saturday night eclectic dance party that is We Got Killers to the dancefloor.
