False Dots - London poetics aplenty in the wake of the wonderful likes of Ian Dury, Madness and Mark Perry. There’s the mashing up of ska, pop and post punk, plus some rather lovely trumpeteering care of the new boy who wasn’t born when they first formed! Some excellent songs, and always a wicked party vibe with these chaps.

Those Naughty Lumps - fellow senior legends, they had it away with Iggy Pop’s Jacket in the late ‘70s and refound their collective mojo in recent years to rejig and rewrite rock roll with some sage advice nestled amongst the irreverent punk rock/‘new wave’. Massively entertaining too.
