The Jazz Cannibals have been going in different formations since 2013. Jimbino started the band while living in New Orleans where he worked as a musician for 5 years playing with world class jazz musicians inspiring his original music which is a mixture of jazz, folk, reggae and a lot of joy. In the vein of Ian Dury and the Blockheads or Benjamin Zephaniah, this music combines fun with passion. He is joined by fantastically skilled musicians Tim Fairhall on bass and Frank Weatherly on tenor sax and flute with Jimbino on vocals guitar and clarinet.
