Bespoke Pedal Club is a tight-knit instrumental band made up of four of London’s most in-demand
musicians. Their set features original compositions, reworked standards, and classic guitar tunes by
Speedy West and Jimmy Bryant — drawing on jazz, country, and rhythm & blues with a relaxed,
open feel.
• Phil Donnelly (bass) – known for work with Damian Lewis, Madness, and major West End
productions.
• Darren Beckett (drums) – a respected name on both sides of the Atlantic, with credits
including Madeleine Peyroux, Brandon Flowers, and Lee Konitz.
• Rob Updegraff (guitar) – a distinctive voice on the UK scene, with performances alongside
Gregory Porter, Jamie Cullum, and many more.
• Jon Gingell (guitar) – an inventive and versatile guitarist who has worked with PJ Harvey
and a wide range of UK artists.
