Event Information
Laura Lantano returns to the Basement Bar at Green Note performing original music from her debut album Returning To Myself and her forthcoming EP Where Are You Really From?, alongside a selection of favourite jazz standards.
Influenced by jazz and classic songwriting, her original compositions are rooted in storytelling and lyrical honesty. Her earlier work explored love, heartache and renewal, while her new songs turn towards questions of identity and family, drawing on stories from her Filipino and Mauritian heritage.
Joined by acclaimed musicians Rob Brockway (piano) and Duncan Eagles (tenor saxophone), she brings an intimate and heartfelt live performance.
