3 wonderful musicians playing Indian Classical Music. We sometimes think classical music is boring but Indian Classical has all aspects where it is getting played with highest rhythm with Indian Drum called Tabla, also sometimes it is more soft with devotional and spiritual aspects.
First two pieces will be pure classical to know and understand it's beauty. But later the musician will include some of your known tunes so that you related and join with them. The concert will be interactive and informative with explanations and you will be welcomed to ask questions and join with their music.
Mayukh Gangopadhyay, World Music Artiste specialized in Indian Instrument 'Sarod' diciple of Shri Arnab Chakrabarty & Pandit Abhik Mukherjee. He has received CCRT Scholarship from Govt of India and has been performing many concerts in UK and Europe last 10 years to name Victoria Institute, Arundel; Ventnor Arts Club; Isle of Wight; Ashburton Arts Centre Westminster Music Library, London; Cellar Arts , Worthing; The Lab, Northampton Theater am Faden, Stuttgart etc.
Prantar Karmakar is a young tabla player following Farukhabad Gharana, disciple of Shri Sandip Ghosh. He started his learning at the age of 2 under the tutelage of his father Shri Anupam Karmakar. His first public performance with tiny fingers happened in 2002 in Nadia, West Bengal when he was just 3 years of age. Hello stood first in Sangeet Piyasi(2014), Chetla Murari(2015), and He got CCRT National Scholarship from Ministry of Culture in 2019. He also stood First in Youth Festival, West Bengal, Govt of West Bengal and received Gold Medal in Punjab Inter University Tabla Competition. In Educational aspect Prantar studied also Music and completed Bachelor and was University Topper in Masters. He has been performing many notable concerts across the country to name SwarDarbar, Kolkata; Baba Harivallabh, Jalandhar; Muktakash Manch, Raipur; Gurukul Socio-cultural Organization, Tripura, Maitreyi Jorasako Thakur Bari etc.
Payal Bhar is an Young Vocalist specialized in Semi-Classical, Devotional Song(Bhajan), has been learning Music since her age of 3 under the tutelage of Mukul Bose. Later she learned from Shri Surajit Chatterjee and Smt Silpi Paul. Now she is under the guidance of Shri Mallar Rakshit, Disciple of Pandit Buddhadeb Dasgupta. She Stood First in Rajya Sangeet Academy, Govt of West Bengal and got distinction in Vocal Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahbad in 2023 she was awarded CCRT National Scholarship from Ministry of Culture, Govt of India. Now she is pursuing second Masters in Music from Rabindra Bharati University after Journalism & Mass communication.
