Event Information

Tasmin Sarkany (BBC New Comedy Awards Nominee 2025, Musical Comedy Awards finalist 2023) plays Amelia Crotchet, a classical musician in a double act with her violin. This is the most important concert in her career: a complete performance J.S. Bach's Chaconne for solo violin, accompanied by a history of his life and works. Unfortunately though, Amelia is easily distracted. Expect silliness, musical puns, historically questionable facts about Bach and (if she gets round to it) some beautiful classical music.
"highly skilful...ingenious" (Chortle)
"captured the spirit of musical comedy" (Beyond the Joke)
"proof you can still have a completely original (and slightly bonkers) idea" (Funny Women)
