On Wednesday April 15th we welcome Joe Devine, Chris O'Shea and James Patrick Gavin to Jamboree. United by a passion for musical innovation, the band seamlessly integrate the timeless melodies of Irish traditional music, delivering performances full of energy, emotion and musical exploration. 

The trio brings together some of London's most talented and versatile musicians, each with a rich background in Irish traditional music and beyond, creating an engaging experience that celebrates both heritage and creativity.

Joe Devine is a London-based musician with over 20 years of experience playing the banjo, has a lifelong connection to Irish music shaped by his Irish heritage. His passion for traditional Irish music adds depth and authenticity to the band's sound. He also works extensively as a session guitarist, touring full-time as the guitarist for Myles Smith.

Chris O'Shea is a fiddle player from North London with deep roots in the dance music of South West Kerry. Currently living in the Basque country, Chris is known on the London session scene for his energetic performances and diverse influences.

And James Patrick Gavin is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from North London, with family roots in County Fermanagh, Ireland, and the Basque Country. Celebrated for his expressive fiddle and guitar playing, James combines Irish traditional music with contemporary, jazz, and experimental influences, creating a dynamic and innovative musical style. He is also known for playing in bands such as GAVIN FAIRHALL LEVER, A Curious Dance, TEYR and Jez Hellard & The Djukella Orchestra.
