Event information
Comedy returns to The Lescar, and it’s one of those line-ups that just works from top to bottom. The kind of night where you settle in, have a drink, and before you know it you’re laughing harder than you expected on a weeknight.
Holding it all together is regular MC Tom Douglas, who knows that room inside out. Warm, quick on his feet and properly funny, Tom has a knack for getting everyone involved without ever overdoing it. He keeps the night moving, keeps the laughs coming, and throws in his trademark fun and games to keep the whole place buzzing.
Joining him is Liverpool’s Mike Carter, bringing that unmistakable scouse rhythm and bite to the stage. His comedy is packed with sharp observations, big laughs and that natural storytelling style that pulls you in straight away. Confident, punchy and very funny.
And completing the line-up is local favourite Pete Selwood, a comic who’s built a strong reputation for his fearless, honest material and brilliantly timed punchlines. There’s an edge to what he does, but it’s always rooted in big laughs and a proper connection with the audience.
Plus, as always at The Lescar, there’ll be a couple of extra guests dropping in on the night, adding even more to an already packed bill.
Three quality acts, surprise extras, and a room that’s made for live comedy. Exactly what a night out should be.
