James Leaver Whitfield is a Bass Player from the southwest currently in his 4th year at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. James is a regular member of the London scene gigging in most aspects of the jazz tradition. He brings his own quartet playing arrangements of his favourite tunes by composers such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Geri Allen, Dayna Stephens and more. The Quartet features Alex Wardill on Tenor Saxophone, Thomas Sladden on Piano and Theo Hayhurst on Drums.
