Cellist Mayuchi Ono, winner of the Gregynog Young Musician of the Year 2025, performs at Llanfyllin Music Festival accompanied by a pianist, Helen Cawthorne. Studying at the Royal Academy of Music, Mayuchi has already earned numerous awards and is celebrated for her expressive and accomplished playing. Helen Cawthorne is a prize-winning solo pianist, accompanist, and chamber musician. Her subsequent career has reflected this diversity, and a special interest in working with singers and string players.
