Event Information
SongFest is an exciting new event taking place 25th to 27th October 2010 at The Brickhouse, Brick Lane, London www.thebrickhouse.co.uk.
Presented by BASCA (www.basca.org.uk, home of the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards), SongFest is an exclusive, intimate gathering of 250 young songwriters, music industry professionals, award-winning songwriters and unsigned artists all in one room at an amazing venue in Shoreditch, networking, performing, exchanging ideas and advice. Those taking part in SongFest include Newton Faulkner, Iain Archer (Snow Patrol), Sacha Skarbek (Adele, Duffy), Kele Le Roc, Jackie Oates, Daniel Pearce, and radio broadcasters Bob Harris and Tom Robinson!
Your £10 ticket includes a full day of panels, a “speed dating” event and the opportunity to take part in “Open Mic Lunchtimes”! (Breaks will be scheduled throughout the day)
In addition, there are fantastic showcases each evening, presented by PRS for Music (Monday), London College of Music (Tuesday) and BASCA (Wednesday).
