Event information

L.A.P.D. Improv return to the famous Royal Hotel, overlooking Southend seafront!

Ever wondered what Whose Line Is It Anyway would be like if it took a police twist? Well wonder no more - it’s a reality! Think Whose Line of Duty is It Anyway.

We perform short skits and scenes in the first half, before embarking on a full length made up police drama in the second - all based on audience suggestions.

This time around, the group is made up of group members David Jervis-Green (known to Hotel regulars for Comedy Dinner Experiences) and Rob Glenister (fresh from a great run on the Edinburgh Fringe in Armageddon Outta Here). Joining us is returning guest Matthew Willis (Southend Shakespeare Company, Oh Yes It Is the Improv Panto) and debuting guest Sherry Fuller (Barecheek Comedy).

Come along to suggest silly things, laugh and drink!

Audience reviews: “Consistently hilarious & brilliant improv comedy fun with a Police Twist - What’s not to like?”

“Always devolves into utter nonsense and I am very thankful for that”

"Great crew, great fun, wall to wall laughter. Highly recommend!"
