Amed Eid is a Palestinian musician who was born in the political exile of his parents in 1987, moved to Ramallah (occupied Palestine) at the age of eight, and to Berlin (Germany) at the age of 27. Ahmed now resides in both cities.

From his early days, Ahmed was enveloped in sound. By 18, he found himself at the Cologne Conservatory of Music, immersing himself in the study of Jazz. Ahmed Eid’s early days growing up in Palestine, two decades spanning career in Europe and trusted collaborations have been a continuous source of inspiration and guidance through his musical journey. As the co-founder of the internationally acclaimed Bukahara, and the Palestine Music Space, Eid seamlessly transcends roles as producer, bassist, percussionist and singer-songwriter, pouring his spirit into the creation of eclectic sounds and stories that have echo across global stages, reflecting his distinct artistic approach.

Gigi and the Grits
The Grits interpret old and new blues songs delivering a true Americana blues sound with a sprinkling of country. With Emily Smith (The Virginian) on vocals, veterans of the blues circuit Ray Kemp on lead guitar and Mary Caffrey on Bass, driven by Archie Tweedie on drums.

Proceeds from this gig will go towards the Palestine Music Space in Ramallah.
