Event information

A celebration of Chopin's Bicentenary and his visit to nearby Johnstone Castle in 1848.
Programme includes Chopin’s '1st Piano Concerto', & 'Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise Brillante', with modern day Polish pianist Aleksander Kudajczyk. The orchestra complete the programme with MacCunn's 'Land of the Mountain and the Flood' and 'Karelia Suite' by Sibelius.
