Please join us for this screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing - an eye-opening film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts who will share the latest scientific evidence. The film explains why the climate situation matters for things like: extreme weather, nature conservation, food security, our health, the cost of living and, not to be melodramatic about it, our future on this planet as the climate changes.

After the film there’ll be an open discussion about what climate change means for our community and what we can do locally. Our guests will include:
* STUART DAINTON - Head of Land Management and Estates at the National Forest, a 200 square mile landscape regeneration programme in the Midlands.
* Dr SIOBHAN CURRIE Dr Siobhan Currie - Advisor, to the Climate Majority Project and Board Member of The Climate Psychology Alliance.
* SARAH PARR - Project Manager for RAIN (Resilience and Innovation for Northants) - Northamptonshire’s Flood Innovation programme.
* TOM JACKSON (“Farmer Tom”) – a regenerative farmer from near Haddon, he believes in the powerful connection between the land, farming, the community and the wider world.
* MAX SCHURER – the recently elected Mayor of Oundle, Max has been a councillor since 2022 and is a firm believer in working collaboratively to ensure that Oundle remains a special place.
* COUNCILLOR SIMON FAIRHALL – Liberal Democrat councillor for the Oundle Ward on the North Northamptonshire Council, Councillor Fairhall has a special interest in the developing North Northamptonshire Greenway.
* ROBERT FOSKETT – Secretary of the Oundle Labour Party and part of the support staff of Lee Barron, MP for Corby and East Northamptonshire.

Members of the audience will be able to question them and put forward their own ideas.

In view of the importance of this issue to our whole community, DOCS+ is lowering the ticket price for this event to £5.00. Also, to allow as many people as possible to attend, the event will be held in Oundle’s Queen Victoria Hall.
