Here’s a lovely new pairing, drawn from two of our long-time favourite regular musicians. Saxophonist Kevin Figes is a tremendous performer & composer, recipient of rave reviews in The Guardian and Jazzwise for his playfully uncategorisable recordings. Matt Hopkins is a virtuoso guitarist whose dazzlingly inventive and melodic playing has been featured in groups as stylistically diverse as Andy Sheppard’s Hotel Bristol and The Hopkins Hammond Trio.
