The Stockport based sisters Cathryn and Angela have woven a tapestry of harmonies and storytelling into their music, that reflects their cultural heritage. Originally a band of 3 siblings, The Hayes Sisters have played on the folk scene for several years, sharing the stage with many well-known and respected musicians. An evening with the sisters comes with a combination of familiar standards and their own penned songs – inspired by personal experiences, politics, love and literature.
