PEY PEY is an Australian-born / London based singer, pianist, and performer whose work moves between piano balladry and cinematic pop. After training in music and drama at WAAPA and NIDA, widely regarded as two of Australia’s top performing arts institutions she began performing across Sydney before relocating to London, where she quietly built her presence at Green Note, first behind the bar, and now returning to the stage for her solo debut.
Her performances strip pop back to its rawest form: voice, piano, and atmosphere. Drawing on the theatricality of David Bowie and Lady Gaga, alongside the melancholic edge of Lana Del Rey, PEY PEY creates a sound that feels both nostalgic and strikingly modern.
Now preparing for a move to New York, she is working closely with her producer on an upcoming EP, a project that fuses glossy pop sensibilities with a darker, textured undercurrent.
