NAGASAKI SWIM writes music that gives you courage, even if you're just walking to the supermarket or merging onto the highway again after a long time. With firm roots in Rotterdam and three albums under their belt through Amsterdam’s iconic Excelsior Recordings label, the band around songwriter/producer Jasper Boogaard grows in many directions. Sometimes a warmhearted folk act, other times a euphoric, fearless rock band, Nagasaki Swim resolutely loosens the reins – through the forest with open eyes, out into the world.

Nagasaki Swim has already toured multiple times through the Netherlands, the US and UK, including festival shows like SXSW, Best Kept Secret, and Motel Mozaïque. Recently the band has been signed to major booking agency MOJO to spread their music even further.

Alongside Boogaard, the lineup features members of bands like Personal Trainer, Library Card – and a phone book's worth of rotating band members on violin, lap steel, and saxophone. Depending on the season, the album, and which way the wind is blowing, the band sounds just a little different each time, and with every show the question is where the music will land.

Co-touring are STARTER CAR, who burst onto the London scene after being formed around Scottish songwriter Oisean, quickly carving out a name with their country‑tinged indie sound and headlining key grassroots venues including Windmill Brixton, The Ivy House, Shacklewell Arms, and The George Tavern. Their debut album Afterlight, produced by Joe Futák (Lilo, Baggio, Sunglasz Vendor) and released in September 2026 via Tapete Records, pairs lush harmonies, laid‑back guitar lines and plain‑spoken lyricism into a confident, mature debut from the South East London band, drawing comparisons to MJ Lenderman, Neil Young, Teenage Fanclub, Wilco and Big Thief.
