Picky New Promotions are proud to bring Dutch jazz punk rockers SHOOM to Abington Groove Records on Sun, May 17, for the inaugural Abington Groove Session!

shoom is a rabid raccoon, chasing a final, heavenly high through an instrumental fever dream of bizarre rhythms, loud guitars, and screaming saxophone solos. The five-piece kicked off their career in 2022 with a series of intimate living room concerts. Since then, shoom have played the Dutch showcase ESNS, and toured the UK, Denmark (SPOT festival), and Balkans (ChangeOver Belgrade). shoom showcases influences from all corners of music: from black midi to Charlie Parker and from Clube Da Esquina to Talking Heads.
