One of the UK's unsung electronic pioneers, Ramjac forged his reputation through voltaic
live performances during the 1988-89 acid house explosion, manipulating samples in real time via
Atari and EMU sampler. These no-frills subterranean sets became a fixture at illegal parties -
Back to the Future, Sunrise, Energy, and World Dance - and at the underground Fun-Da-Mental
and Spiral Tribe events. Hauling his Atari rig past police roadblocks to raves, squat parties and
clubs across London and the Southeast, Ramjac then toured more widely with Orbital, The Shamen,
and Irresistible Force.
Ramjac's recent return includes over 50 live shows at venues across the south of the UK, and
performances in Osaka, Toronto, and San Francisco. Ahead of its time, his sound aligns with the
renewed interest in the breaks and electronica of the ‘90's (think Black Dog, Aphex, Orbital).
Ramjac continues to perform at left-field events while targeting a wider audience in 2025/2026.
