Event information

Join Tales Tattled & Told in this joyous celebration of Bletchley’s history.

Tales Tattled & Told is proud to kick off it's eighth season of storytelling by and for grown-ups by taking part in this year's Heritage Open Days (find more HOD events here).

Local storytellers Pete Boyce, Stella Girvin, Stephen Hobbs, Terrie Howey-Moore and Jane Lambourne bring tales of times past in Bletchley, Milton Keynes and wider Buckinghamshire.

Plus the joyous music of Fraser Winterbottom!

Whose faces are those, that look down from the ceiling of the Rectory Cottages in Bletchley? Come on in and find out.

Do you know all of the secrets of Bletchley Park? Are you sure?

What happened on the day that a suffragette challenged Prime Minister H.H. Asquith at Bletchley Manor? Was that in 1909 or 1911?

This event is intended for ages 16 and older.

As with all HOD events, entry for the evening is free. Doors open at 7 pm for a 7:30 pm start at the historic Rectory Cottages at 49 Church Green Rd, Bletchley, Milton Keynes MK3 6BJ.

Parking is free on Church Green Road and nearby. The Cottages are just a short walk from Bletchley’s railway station.

We regret that the 500-year-old building is not yet accessible for wheelchairs.
