Bestmate – excellent entertainment that somehow manages to combine Nirvana, The Cure and Dr Feelgood and still sound utterly original. The (seemingly) seven foot tall is quite a presence, and does some wonderful Wilko Johnson duck walking as he off loads his ace Anglo Saxon indie angst.

Frankestra– Hooky alt rock with a nod to Wunderhorse in places but also recalls cult indie band Hope Of The States and shades of The Clash and even The Levellers.

Televised Mind – purveyors of pummelling punky indie with some low slung rocknroll of a Stooges bent and plenty of swagger.
